It
is my pleasure to welcome you to my web page
"Final Desire". I am Laura Late. I was
born in 1985,
and my childhood memories all include a lovable
dog as part of my family. With deep
appreciation, I want to thank my parents for
their love, support and guidance - I have had so
many oppotunities to excell in training ,
competing and as of Dec.12,2002 becomming the
proprietor of my and my mothers kennel, "Final
Desire". Starting out small has enabled me to
povide a warm family atmosphere for the dogs
left in my care. They are free to roam in the
house, sleep on the couch or bed. Run in our
little garden and explore the forest trails and
nearby castle ruins near our facility, in
Tallinn, Nomme.
With pride and joy I share my story.
I began competeing in dog shows in 1998 and in
1999 entered as a Junior Handler for the very firts time. After that came a little break for
me as junior handler, and in 2000 I started to
compete in Junior Handler again, since the day I
got too old for that. Becomming more skilled and
experienced in 2000, I started representing
clients both in Estonia and Europe. Some of the
breeds I've entered include the Shetland
Sheepdog, the Tibet Spaniel, the Rotweiler,
the Bloodhound, the Afgan Hound, the Scottish
Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
My very first
dogs were mixed-breeds, Pootsman and Roki.
Unfortunately I couldn`t handle them - they took
me for walks - since they were much to big for a
little girl to control. What I really needed was
smaller dogs to learn with. So I broke my "piggy
bank" and went in search of a puppy, which I
found at the town market. Grenni, cute black &
silver dog, was to become the best decision I
have ever made (also made in spite of my parents
diapproval), for it was to become the turning
point of what direction my life was to take.
Unfortunately Grenni is limited in
competitions, not having a pedigree, but has
proven to be a Champion . In 1998, Grenni won
the "most lovable" title in Nomme: in may 1999
he won a match Show in 46 Shcool, in june 1999
he was BIS I in Saue, in 1999 he was again BIS
I, but in Tähe, in May 2000 he was first again
in Saue,in july 2000 he was BIS I in
Vasalemma,in 2000 he was awarded to be BIS I in
the show called "Le Grants"( the biggest show of
all in Estonia for not-bedigreed dogs), he was
awarded BIS I in 2002 in show that Tako arranged
etc.
Thanks to Rita Valdna-Pruel, we received our
first pedigreed dog - Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel Ribessita Othello-Upon-Avon (April
16,1999). He was so very handsome and had become
the family favorite. In spite of being larger
than the norm, Otho became the Estonian
Champion in 2001, when he was only few months
ower 2. He was also the first champion, who
carried the name Ribessita. The following year
in September, Otho tragically died.
A male Shetland
sheepdog White Coastal Little Silverstone
"Kapik" was born in Inna Tolli's kennel,in
16.09.2000,who became our family member.
A female White Coastal
Little Black Mink "Suzy",who was born in
12.10.2001 also became our family member.
In 11.11.2002 we
were lucky to have Othellos's halfsister - two
and a half year old female Ribessita The Sound
of Si-Si "Dessa"(born in 03.06.2000).This dog's
grandmother ,Evis Alice is the first Cavalier in
Estonia ,who was brought here in 1991.
In
31.08.2003 the very first litter breed by our
kennel was born. Mom of the litter was Suzy and
dad was Kapik. We had 5 lovely puppies in the
litter, 3 boys and 2 girls. Two of the puppies
are living in Estonia, one of them is tricolour
male and the other one in black & white male,
wich is considered as very rear colour.
First Cavalier litter was born on 27th of
February 2004. In the litter there was 7
puppies, from wich we kept one. Her name is
Final Desire Heaven Is Falling "Pipar"
In 13.02.2005 the third
litter of our kennel was born. It was second
Sheltie litter . We had 5 boys born there. My
that time husband-to-be wanted to keep one, we
named him Final Desire Perfect Silence "Kollo".
Our future life you'll see on my next pages
,which are filled by me in the matter of time.
Special thanks to Triin from Estonia and to
Malle-Mai Portway in USA,Virgina.
