It all began already when I was born. I was raised by a black & tan standard smooth- haired female dachshund called Pässu. My family has always had dachsies as my grandfather is a hobby hunter. Pässu was owned by my grandfather, but she belonged to the family. She made it till 17 years, rest in peace my dear friend. It all began in 2002 when I saw 2 little dachsie babys playing at the garden where my friend Berit lived. I saw for the first time in my life a black dappled baby. It was decided. As I was only 14 then my grandfather again helped me to get the puppy. Thank you Maarja for trusting me this amazing girl called Tenera and in everyday life just Tessi. I first wanted to visit some dog shows with her like my really good friends from Finland Mari and Erkki Hasu did with their poodles.

At the age of 5 months I went to dog school with Tessi where she learned extremely fast, even better than some german shepards. In 2003 we took part from our first dog show - ESTONIAN WINNER 2003 where Tessi gained right away her first JUN CC and the Title ESTONIAN JUNIOR WINNER 2003...and so it continued. I got to know with many interesting people who helped me a lot during the first year, especially the breeder of Amianos Pepita Koljonen. After finishing Tessi's Estonian and Latvian Champion I moved to Germany for one year to study as an exchange student there. Already then I was looking for a suitable male for Tessi. After long time of searching I finally found the male- brown & tan Engels Noah. I met Brigitte Engel for the first time in November 2004 where she kindly invited us to visit her. She had Noah at that time with her aswell and I must say, this was love from the very first sight, this colour, elegance, bone structure and not to forget this beautiful head. In 2005 I visited Brigitte for the first time and at the same weekend I got to know with the breeder of vom Krummholz Christiane Naunheim aswell. Brigitte introduced me dogs and breeder who I had admired so far only from the Interner. I still remember that day, meeting with Zobel vom Krummholz and Clarchen and Grand Old Lady Silva. Still a puppylike Hanna. I had made my mind- The father of the M- Litter will be Noah. I spent my 2005 Christmas again in Germany, but this time with Brigitte and her family. In 2006 our first litter was born under kennelname Glück To Bring which a could registrate in the FCI after becoming 18 years old. I had preferred a real German name- Glücksbringers, but unfortunately something similar was already taken. The meaning in my vision is still the same- somebody who brings happiness into your everyday life and helps to keep smiling even if it is sometimes hard.

So, there were 5 little babys born in black & tan, brown & tan and brown dappled. All with the show quality and with no teeth mistakes. All of them have high hunting instincts, even Mona, who has not been tested as she was taken with out any intrests to show her at dog shows. Other 4 are Junior CC holders, 3 of then CC holders and 2 of them CACIB holders. Definitely the most won and shown is Mimi who is for today also our first International Champion and hopefully also the first dachshund from Estonia to get the German Champion. This year in 2008 Elvis finished his Estonian Champion and Milka is on her way with missing one CC. Way to go mu M- children. Our second and also long planned litter was born in the 2007 with Zobel vom Krummholz. After 2005 I was still in contact with Christiane and I was really happy when she agreed, I just wanted to try something new, but still with Engels lines in it. There were 5 beautiful puppies born, but unfortnately 1 black dappled boy could not make it. I still miss him and do not forgive myself for waiting so long, I am sorry precious. Other 4 are doing fine. We already have a first Estonin Junior Champion and Junior Winner 2008 from this combination- our boy Zorro. Her sister Bella is coming after with 2 JUN CC-s.

In 2007 my life also took another turn as my long wished brown & tan boy Engels Rodolfo was born. After meeting Noah I secretly wished to own a boy like he one day aswell. I knew it should be a dog from Brigitte and son of Yvette. In May 31 the chocolate boy could join our family having 4 little friends to play with. Rodolfo has already shown big success at dog shows winning BIS 2 Puppy title under Kari Järvinen and Baltic Junior Champion Title. For me, one the greatest wins of him is the III place in the Junior Class at the World Winner Show in Stockholm handled by Jill Rhodin. Since September we are again back in Germany, me with my darling dogs trying to go to some shows and do some hunting tests. Lets see what the year will bring. I have finished the courses for the ring secretary at Estonian dog shows and one day, when I am ready I would like to be a judge. My aim is to breed dachshund who have both the beauty and insticts as they are still hunting dogs. Only males who I have seen with my own eyes are being used in my breeding. Finally and most imortant the dogs used in my breeding are healthy as a dachshund is a breed witch could live happyly for 15- 17 years.

I want to thank Maarja for trusting me Tessi, Pepita Koljonen for helping me to get the points of handling, Brigitte and Christiane who have always been there for me, my dear friend Anu (Weistrand ridgebacks) and Kaidi Juurik (Yacheeros dobermanns) and last but not least my family and my dear puppy owners, for loving and showing/teaching your little friends. Thank you!
